Spain PCR Test For Traveling to the UK

The rules and guidelines for traveling from Spain to the UK depend on whether you are fully vaccinated or not.

People vaccinated with both doses of COVID and receiving their second dose at least 14 days before traveling from Spain to the UK can add their EU digital COVID certificate to the UK passenger locator form.

The UK passenger locator form also called the UK arrival form, has to be filled out online before traveling and arriving in the UK from Spain. Even if you are fully vaccinated, you may need a negative COVID test.

Furthermore, if you are not fully vaccinated, these rules will apply for you if:

People traveling from Spain to the UK who are not vaccinated must:

  • Fill and submit a passenger locator form 48 hours before reaching the UK.
  • Get a COVID-19 test done within three days before travelling.
  • After arriving in England, get a COVID-19 day 2 and day 8 PCR test done. (Arrival day is counted as day 0) Before travelling, also pay and book a PCR test.

Before traveling, you can also receive your fit to fly certificate from the doctor if your COVID test is negative.
