MOROCCO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

From 7th February 2022, Morocco travel restrictions for the UK were lifted and according to the new rules you can now travel to Morocco if you have a valid vaccine pass and a test result of a negative PCR test which must be done two days ahead of your Morocco travel before you enter.

WHEN IS MOROCCO GOING TO OPEN BORDERS FOR THE UK

All inbound and outbound flights are resumed in Morocco for the British people. Previously they were banned from travelling to Morocco since October 2021 which is the longest ban on them from any other county including other countries like The Netherlands and Germany because of the surge in coronavirus.

WHAT ARE THE LATEST ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FROM THE UK TO MOROCCO

First, everyone planning to travel to Morocco from the UK must check with the embassies and the airline to get up-to-date information on the Morocco UK travel. You must have the following documents if you wish to enter Morocco.

  • You must be completely vaccinated with two doses of two-dose vaccine and a single dose of single-dose vaccine and, you must have a pass of vaccination to prove that. The second dose of vaccine must be two weeks older before you travel to Morocco.
  • You are also required to complete and fill out a passenger health form and keep a physical form of it with you before you land in Morocco.
  • You are also needed to provide a PCR test results showing negative results which you can book from Point 19 Testing two days before you arrive, you can book this test from their website or you can simply call them at 03303830309

CHILDREN WHO ARE GOING TO TRAVEL MUST FOLLOW THESE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All those children who are 6 years old are not required to provide a PCR test before arrival and all those children under the age of 18 years are not required to provide a pass of vaccination at the entrance.

You may be required to do a LATERAL FLOW TEST when you travel to Morocco upon arriving at the airport and there may be a PCR test which may be done randomly on travellers upon arrival. You must always provide a correct pass of vaccination and Morocco is going to accept your vaccination pass from the NHS but you should always book your test from private testing providers to get an entry for Morocco UK travel. You can do this at Point 19 Testing or visit them at 3 Baillie Street Rochdale and purchase a private PCR test from them.

If you are going to keep a print form of NHS pass you must make sure it has the 1st November 2021 date on it and, else it will not be able to get scanned and you may be stopped at the airport to get entrance.

The travel ban is lifted for passengers travelling from Morocco to the UK and Morocco is on the green list from 18th March 2020, all passengers travelling back to the UK from Morocco are not asked to provide any test or fill a passenger locator form upon entry.
